Last Fayre Oaks we bought Criccieth Garnet. She came home at the 18th of October and she seatled in easly and after two weeks she became weak and sick. We had to decide to put her to sleep today.

We took another showlivery for Harold & Yvette Zoet, Ysselvliedt stud. This time Ysselvliedt's Shy Riverlilly by Langevorens Charles out of Ysselvliedts Shy Rose. She made her showingdebutand was placed first in her class and is invited for the Dutch National.

For Harold & Yvette Zoet, Ysselvliedt stud we took one of the showliveries: Beukenallee's Nicole. By Lange Voren Charles out of our Ysselvliedts Dreams of Hope is a real Welsh pony with a lot of expression. She was placed first in a very strong class and invited for the Dutch National

Also entered our Vughterheides Dreams of Lizzy. We think it is a very prommising filly but she wasn't the taste of the judges today. We shall see what the future will bring

Today we took our Yearling filly Vughterheides Delilah to the county show in Hengelo. We had a lot of carproblems during the trip. This gave much stress for this young filly. It was a pitty to see her come of the horsebox and not being fit. Only one thing to do, not entering the ring.

Meanwhile we had 2 filly foals. at the thirth of May Ysselvliedts Dreams of Hope had a chestnut filly foal, her name will be Vughterheides Dreams of Lizzy. and at the 14 of May Vughterheides Dreams of Samé had a palomino, her name will be Vughterheides Sweet Fenna. Both foals are by Ysselvliedts Shy Charmer. For photos see the foal page 

Both mares are allready been to the stallion.

We alos made the decision that Taraco Razzmatazz will return to the UK. Normally she will go back to Tara Coppins, Taraco Stud, Kent in October. If you are intrested, Razzmatazz is for sale. Tara thanks for giving us the opportunity to lease such a lovely mare!

First Championship for Vughterheide Pony in 2011

Last year November we sold Vughterheides Gjemma to Maudi Baas. In January she started the first time in dressage. Today it was the Dutch Regional Championships. She became Reserve Champion

The year her at the Vughterheide stud is gone. An other year with ups and downs. Luckly a year with a positive fealing. First we would like to say thank you to all those people who made a contribution to this year. First the stallion owners for giving us the opportunity to use the stallions, all the people who organisate all the show during the season. Offcourse a big THANK YOU for Tara & Simon, Taraco stud, for giving us the opportunity to have Taraco Razzmataz at our stud. And a thank you for the Baas family and the Tieleman family for purchasing our  homebred ponies. Hopely we hear a lot of them in the future.

2010 gave us a lot of cups and rosettes. I would like to give you some highlights with the Reserve section and Overall Champion of Taraco Razzmatazz in Belgium, and the Overall Foal CHampion and Reserve Section Champion for our Vughterheides Delilah at Vrouwenpolder. Getting the Star premium for Taraco Razzmatazz en Vughterheides Dreams of Samé were also highlights of the season.

Most beautiful of this hobby is meeting al the people with the same passion. We cherish al the special moments we had with you.

We wish you a merry christmas and a happy 2011! On our journey to another beautifull Welsh year!

Normally Prinses Gjemma would have competed the first time but with this snowy wheather the show was cancelled. We did went to Zeewus Vlaanderen to see the Baas family and there ponies. We had a lot of fun and saw our Gjemma under saddle!

We get really good messages out of Zeeuws Vlaanderen. Maudi and Prinses Gjemma are working to be a combination. In a few months time Maudi will start Gjemma for the first time in a dressage competition. As the breeders of this special pony we are very proud of our Gjemma and very happy that we have found a adress like the Baas family for our first homebred filly.

Yesterday we made the trip to Zeeuws Vlaanderen. We brought our homebred Vughterheides Gjemma en Vughterheides Gio to there new adresses. Due of illness Maudi wasnot abble to welcome her Prinses Gjemma. We hope you get well soon and you will be back with your ponies. 

Also our Gio was more then welcome and he allready met his new friend.

Whit a very good feeling over the new adresses fot these two homebred ponies and after a very pleasant afternoon we went back to Brabant. We expect to hear very soon that Madelon have start to back "Prinses" Gjemma.

Today we sold Vughterheide's Gio to Claudia and Dion De Bruijn-Tieleman. Gio will be the friend for the Welsh cob colt Daioni's Welsh Flyer (Liezelhof Magic). 

At the same time Sandra Baas bought for her 9 years old daughter, Maudi, Vughterheide's Gjemma. We have high expectations for the future of these two.

Next saterday we will bring both to there new adress in Terhole

Today the Altena Welsh Show. A great 3 year old filly class, our Vughterheides Dreams of Samé became second.

Today the Show of the Vriendenkring of the Welsh Mountain Ponies. Taraco Razzmatazz entred. She was placed in the ribbons in a very strong and big class. But we could feel that she had enough of this showseason. This was her last show for this year.

The National Championship at Kootwijk. Our Vughterheide's Dreams of Samé and Taraco Razzmatazz were  booth preselected at the selectionshows. Booth got where we came for. Our homebred filly became "star" mare. Also the small but real good Razzmatazz is from now on "Star" mare. Photos will folow

The Dragon Welsh Show in Oldenbroek. Entered our Vughterheide's Delilah. A very good second place, first was the foal Champion. Comment by judge Dr. Wynn Davies. Very good foal, not his type but with a lot of potention for the future!

On Sunday the 22 of Augus there will be a new addition to the Vughterheide stud! This young lady will be responsible for the P-line in the future.

Today the Welsh Friends Border Show with Meirion Davies, Heniarth stud as judge. Beautiful showgrounds and a good increase to the season. First in the ring with Vughterheide's Dreams of Samé. A big and strong class 3 year old fillys and colts. We were placed as first filly at the third place.

In the biggest class of the day we entered Taraco Razzmatazz. As a 5 year old between allmost all older ladies we were placed at a very good fourth place.

 

Menno Dijkstra would participate in the Young Handlers Class, but had no pony. He went in to the ring together with our Vughterheide's Dreams of Samé. This occasional duo became Reserve Younghandlers Championship. Well done Menno!

Taraco Razzmatazz does it again This gorgeous and very special mare graduated top of the class again, this time in Belgium! She won her class, went reserve Champion Section A and then went on to be Reserve Supreme Show Champion as well, standing Reserve to the section A stallion on both counts.

Today we had the show in Hellendoorn. Vughterheides Delilah entered. A class of 7 filly foals, all born after the first of may, we became second after the foal champion of the show.

Today the show in Sevenum. Despite soaring temperatures reaching 37°C our very special 5 year old Taraco Razzmatazz was a prizewinner and qualified for the Dutch National Championships today.

Today the show In Houten. Vughterheides Dreams of Samé in the biggest class of the day. Ten 3 years old fillys in the ring. The first five invited for the Dutch National Champion Show. 

We became third. Mission completed.

Today the Internationale Show in Vrouwenpolder. We entered Vughterheides Delilah. What a day! Foal Champion Section A, Reserve Champion Sectie A next to the Overall Champion Hoekhorst Elisabeth and as last also overall Foal Champion. Judge today was Chris Cobley, Tryfel Stud!

Meanwhile there is happend a lot.  3 Mares are covered, Taraco Razzmatazz is scanned in to foal by Blanche Gwillym. Ysselvliedts Dreams of Hope and Vughterheides Dreams of Samé are scanned in to foal by Ysselvliedt's Shy Charmer. 

At the moment we are waiting for our first foal out of Vughterheides Gjemma, this young mare is covered by Blanche Gwillym and is due for the end of June.

Today we went to Henk Roel Krol and Ilse Hornstra in Noordwolde. They own Beukenallee's Nicole since a few months. This is a Langen Voren Charles daughter out our Ysselvliedt's Dreams of Hope. 

Then we went up North to the Oldenzijl Stud. This is the temporarily home of Vughterheides Griffin. We are realy happy how he is growing into a nice colt. See Youngstock for some photos!

Today we went to Elim for The WPCV Show, judged by Mr. G Price, Littlewern Stud. First time for Taraco Razzmatazz. We learned a lot and are really happy how she preformed in the ring.

Today we went to Tara & Simon of the Taraco stud. We saw most of the ponies.Then we went to the pub and had a great afternoon there. It is nice to see some friends again. Hopely see you soon again. 
I won't be running with a £ 6.000,= stallion each day!

This morning we started at the Idillyc stud and then we went to the Sunwillow stud. 

After we arrived in Canterbury tonight for our last evening in the U.K. Eveline at last had her Fish & Chips. 

Tomorrow we go to Tara & Simon of the Taraco stud and then we go home again.

Yesterday we made the trip to Newbury,this morning we went to Springbourne stud. In one word enjoyed!

       

Afterwards we drove in to the direction of Colchester. Early in the evening we went to Liesl & Martin Burt, Wensley stud. We had a joyfull evening there.

Today we visited the Hope Stud and the Rhesfair Stud. Both gave us a warm welcome. We saw some beautiful ponies. For this sort of pictures we go to Wales!

Today we had e very busy day. 3 stud to visit. started of at the Three-B Stud. We had a warm welcome. Then up on the hill to meet Rod Lewis of the Cwm-Meudwy Stud. We will return here to see everything when we have more time. We went on to the Heniarth Stud. Again a warm welcome and just in time to see a wet filly foal of Sunwillow Yasmin.

Today  we went to the Glanusk Show. We had a great day and saw some beautiful ponies and some succes for the Dutch. After the Show we went to Sue and Mike of the Castlemead Stud. We feld more then welcom and saw some beautiful ponies.

After a long but pleasant journey we arrived this afternoon at our B&B in Fairfach, Llandeilo. Tomorrow we are going to the Glanusk Show and during the week we will visit some studs.

Today we went to Houten for the WPCV Youngstock and Stallion Show. We entered Vughterheide's Dreams of Samé. The roset for the second place was for us. Judge Mrs. Phillipa Owens, Cascob Stud.

We went to Marc & Anita Aerts, Voermanhof Stud, to take our Taraco Razzmatazz back home. She is covered by Blanche Gwillym, fingers crossed!

Today we took Taraco Razzmatazz to the Voermanhof Stud in Belgium. Marc and Anita Aerts gave us the opportunity to cover Razzle with Blanche Gwillym. 

Fingers crossed she will be in foal, because Gwillym will return to Wales in May.

A happy new year for every one.

2009 was a top year for us unless the lost of Springbourne Gala.
