Establishing of the Vughterheide stud
Vughterheide stud was formed in 2005. The prefix his self is a combination of the name of our village "Vught" and street where we live in, "Heideveldhoeve"
In 2001 we fall in love with the Welsh Mountain pony when we bought Zonneweides Historie. We saw her in the field with a farmer. Zonneweides Historie was covered and scaned in foal by Putwell Panache.
To learn more about the Welsh Mountain pony and especially Zonneweides Historie we contacted the last known owner Rhodé Thielen of the Vennebos stud.
In 2005 we decided to start a new stud with the prefix
Vughterheide.
We are familiar with horses since we were childeren. Eveline always ride horses and ponys. First at the local ridingschool, and later with her own pony Speedy.
Eveline had also a KWPN mare Olana (Concorde x Solaris x Important) for shows.
Unfortunately we had to euthanize Zonneweides History at 7 april 2006 because of a braintumour
At 8 may 2006 we bought Springbourne Gala as our new broodmare with the Van Dijk family of the Beukenallee stud.
At 31 August 2006 we had the opportunity to purchase Ysselvliedts Dreams of Hope after a 4 months battle with Harold and Yvette Zoet of the Ysselvliedt stud. With these two broodmares we hoped to make a succesful stud in the Welshworld.
Unfortunately at 17 april 2009 in the morning we found Springbourne Gala dead in our stables. the nightmare of everyone. And what to do with a 2 weeks old colt foal?
Thanks to Tara Coppins, who leased us Taraco Razzmatazz since the end of 2009, she will become a great broodmare for us with the the Springbourne G-line who we love so much
